Unnatural Selection (04-SEP-09) Info ----- I was looking for an ear monitor signal on my radio before the show started and stumbled across what appeared to be a recording of the previous night being played back. It was only snippets but as I listened I realised it was a feed from the BBC crew that were there taping. Just before Muse came on stage they gave the signal to ‘fire the engines’ but the signal became too weak to record. I managed to record Resistance by holding the radio and recorder in the air above my head. After too many strange looks I opted to settle for Matt’s ear monitor. It doesn’t sound that great anyway, but I added what I grabbed from the previous night as fillers. The matrices were time aligned in Adobe Audition 3.0 and mastered in Audition 3.0, Har Bal 2.0 and Izotope Ozone 4.0. I would like to have recorded an analogue signal for the Muse Night show but just couldn’t get reception that was good enough. Enjoy and happy Christmas everybody!! |
