Recorded at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Good audience recording. From the info file: Pink Floyd Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, The Netherlands 6 November 1970 Original source lineage: Cass(1) > DAT(2)(48kHz) > Tascam DA-20mkII > Coax > Edirol UA-1D > CD wave > flac@16bit/48kHz Additional source lineage: flac > TLH > wav > Adobe Audition 3.0.1* > wav@16/48 Tracked with CD Wave, encoded to flac 8 with Flac Frontend, tagged and verified * - reduced a few peaks, clicks, pops and numerous bumps throughout - increased gain, balanced channels - 105.4 stretch - a few edits 1 Astronomy Domine (10:01) 2 Fat Old Sun (15:58) 3 Cymbaline (12:47) 4 Atom Heart Mother (18:33) 5 The Embryo (10:46) 6 Green Is The Colour (3:38) 7 Careful With That Axe, Eugene (11:10) 8 Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun (13:49) 9 A Saucerful Of Secrets (20:47) (cuts off with short fade out) Total time: 117:28 Notes: This is the better sounding source 1 from lower gen than the more complete source 2 from unknown gen. Its levels were very low so I increased the overall gain a few dB's and slightly balanced the channels, which are in dual channel mono. My approach was conservative. There were numerous microphone bumps, clicks and pops throughout which I reduced as best as possible to make them less obstrusive. This source misses about 46 secs before Astronomy Domine, including Water's announcement and a few secs at the start of The Embryo. Strangely, all available transfers (which are all from 1st gen to DAT) have a sharp frequency cut-off between 11 and 13kHz. Nobody seems to know the reason why that is.
