Recorded at the Anaheim Stadium, Anaheim, CA, USA. Very good audience recording. From the info file: ANAHEIM 6.5.77 1ST GENERATION Anaheim Colisseum, Anaheim, CA, USA, May 6th 1977 from marbal's cassettes / transferred by pinkrudy on february 2008 Source: Audience (recorder 1) Lineage: Maxell XLII90 cass[1] > Sony CFD-G500 > SB X-Fi Xtrememusic > Cooledit Pro > WAV 24/48 > FLAC 24/48 Total Time 118:22m 1. SHEEP / POTW1 / DOGS / POTW2 / PIGS (3DO) cut (48:21m) 2. PIGS (3DO) continued / SOYCD 1-5 / WTTM / HAC / SOYCD 6-9 cut (48:19m) 3. SOYCD 6-9 continued / MONEY (21:43m) Nice version, this sounds as an 'Evil Tide' unprocessed.... i'm sure 'Evil Tide' was overboosted. I think i'd choose this one to listen to. Last part of the concert sounds slightly better than the rest and even Evil Tide. Comments (by pinkrudy) well evil tide sounds a bit better to me, since this is a 1st gen tape then maybe evil tide is from master. however the end of the concert on evil tide loses some clarity like at 7:50 mark of soycd pt6-9 it starts to sound worse. this show was on 3 tape sides and amazingly side3 sounds better than all the rest! it sounds better than evil tide. its a shame the whole tape wasnt like this. slightly more audience chatter before money here also. |
