Recorded at the Syria Mosque Theater, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. Very good audience recording. The second set was louder than the first and I had to allow the stronger channel to sometimes be weaker to achieve a single level for the whole of side B. The music would otherwise have clipped during Echoes. Speed-wise DSOTM was within 1% or so of the right speed; certainly not worth correcting. The second set (and next tape side) started out about 2.4% fast, for OOTD and CWTAE. Then Echoes started out about 2.4% fast as well, but the speed decreased during the first part until it reaches about 1.4% fast. Then the B minor section after the seagulls is at the correct speed. I changed the speed at a point in the Echoes seagulls where it is not noticeable. Goldenband: 'Time is a train-wreck which is 100% Rick's fault - a rare event indeed!' Neonknight, December 2013 |
