Thank you to Anthony P from Brooklyn for making it available through me to the Yeeshkul community. This recording comes from one reel and the vast majority of the recording is on another. I was once indirectly offered a copy of a 2 hour version but discussions broke down. At least two versions of the 25 minute version circulate on CD. Both contain the same songs but another one I have been offered is 9 seconds longer. The cassette sample I torrented in December 2012 (Source 1) sounds significantly better than this version but is, of course, much shorter. The full tracklist that night was: The Embryo, Astronomy Dominé, Fat Old Sun, Careful With That Axe, Eugene, Cymbaline, Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun, A Saucerful Of Secrets, and Atom Heart Mother (with brass and choir). It's likely that I should have reversed tracks 1 and 2 but I decided to torrent them in the order they are on Anthony's disc. Neonknight, December 2013 |
