Here’s the 2nd of the two sold-out shows at the sonically glorious Beacon. Personally, I felt it was a better show all around. I adored the setlist (only Tori can go from one night to the next and have an overlap of 3 songs (!!!!)), I am totally taken by her Creep cover (viva Radiohead!! checkout my video below), I am obsessed with Precious Things (too obsessed to film!), Tori was dressed all in black and as intense and seductive as ever… The crowd was also better on night 2 (significantly less stupid whoo’ing and screaming). Even the security guy in front of me was the friendliest kind and basically told me I can do ‘anything’ and he’s just gonna go upstairs after support… (I was tempted to ask him to watch my indicator lights!! ;) Even support guys were better! Recording-wise - much better than night 1 as I had no screamers near me through most of the show (just at the end, when everyone rushed toward the stage), and the overall balance between the volume of songs and applause was much better. The only problem… well, the first one you likely won't even hear :-) But for full disclosure, some guy in a row behind me decided to get out between songs and hit my head nearly knocking down one mic - and, in the next break, I was readjusting this whole contraption. This random uncalled-for violence has been zapped by BLG :) The second issue though is that during the last song, when we were all by the stage, there was some commotion related to a wheel chair, and my favorite security guard showed up and started a random rather loud discussion. Well - he was otherwise a nice guy, so let’s forgive him for that! Enormous thanks to BLG for cleaning up the tape!! Hope you like the result!
