Recorded at 201 Piccadilly, Studio 1, London, UK. Excellent sound quality. From the info file: Pink Floyd 1968-08-11 Top Gear from Westwood One Radio Networks 60’s at the BEEB (24bit/96kHz) Pink Floyd Top Gear broadcast on 1968-08-11 Recorded on 1968-06-25 at 201 Piccadilly, Studio 1 Lineage: Westwood One LP > Michell Engineering TechnoDec > Rega RB202 tonearm > Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge > Musical Fidelity Integrated Amplifier M3si > Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 > Reaper v4.61 > WAV > ClickRepair 3.9.2 > WAV > Reaper v4.61 > FLAC (24bit/96kHz) xACT used to create FFP 01 Andy Peebles 02 Julia Dream 03 Andy Peebles 04 Let There Be More Light 05 Andy Peebles 06 The Murderotic Woman or Careful With That Axe, Eugene 07 Andy Peebles Total running time 9 mins 36 secs A needle drop of my EX copy of the LP. I used ClickRepair - automated, declick 20, decrackle 20, x3 method; a non-destructive approach to removing some of the clicks and crackles. 60’s at the BEEB was a 15 LP set. This recording is from part two, side 10. The songs were broadcast in the wrong order. Unfortunately I don’t have side 11, which featured Point Me At The Sky and The Embryo from 1968-12-02. Vernon Fitch notes on his Pink Floyd Archives site that: “these records were only available via subscription to radio stations for broadcast, and were issued with cue sheets and performance affidavits.” I bought my copy in a Notting Hill Gate record shop about 25 years ago.
