Recorded at the International Amphitheatre, Chicago, IL, USA. Great audience recording. From the info file: Pink Floyd 1973-03-07 Chicago, 1st gen (24bit/96kHz) Pink Floyd International Amphitheatre, Chicago, Illinois, USA 7 March 1973 Lineage: 1st gen TDK SA90 cassettes (1982-1984 type) > *Technics RS-B965-M > Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 > Reaper v4.61 > FLAC (24bit/96kHz) *The Technics RS-B965-M is a modified deck - for details see the Tapeheads.net forum xACT used to create FFP 01 Echoes 02 Obscured By Clouds and When You’re In 03 Childhood’s End 04 Careful With That Axe, Eugene 05 The Dark Side Of The Moon 06 One Of These Days Total running time 1 hour 56 mins 16 secs A raw transfer of Roscoe59’s cassettes except for a +3.05% speed correction, which I applied after advice from goldenband. This recording is often overlooked but is in fact one of the best sounding 1973 shows and, of course, it includes a rather nice version of Childhood’s End. The taper stopped his machine between songs making it easy for me to divide the music up into the individual tracks. Roscoe59 cassette / Neonknight tape transfer, June 2015 |
