Recorded at the Royal Albert Hall, London, UK. Very good audience recording. From the info files: David Gilmour 9-23-2015 RAH Well, what can I say about this recording. I was as far away from the stage as it's possible to be without standing (I believe Circle T row 7). I did not have a very good set of microphones. I had no way of mounting them, so the recorder and preamp were in my lap, and I was holding the microphones one in each hand through the whole concert. Of course I was smiling like an idiot through the whole thing, and tears streaming down my face by the end. The microphones are cardoid, so I pointed them at the speakers hanging from the ceiling and hoped for the best. On listening at home I found bursts of static going on in one of the channels, and the equalization was WAY off. I removed the blasts of static, minimized as much as possible the mic bumps, and after numerous equalization attempts think it's now listeneable. The worst problem was a whistler that, aside from numerous other spots, decided to blow right into one of the mics just as David finished the last note of Comfortably Numb. So, there are a number of very short spots where the recording is simulated stereo and it's been normalized and equalized. There's been no compression, and the whole concert is here. This is as close as I can get to what it sounded like in the 'cheap' seats.
