Recorded at the Fillmore East, New York City, NY, USA. Great audience recording. From the info file: Pink Floyd 1970-09-27 New York, Marbal low gen (24bit/96kHz) Pink Floyd Fillmore East, Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA 27 September 1970 Lineage: Low gen Maxell UDXLII C90 cassette > *Technics RS-B965-M > Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 > Reaper v4.61 > FLAC (24bit/96kHz) xACT used to create FFP 01 Astronomy Domine 02 Green Is The Colour 03 Careful With That Axe, Eugene 04 Fat Old Sun 05 Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun Total running time 48 mins 30 secs The band played two concerts at 6pm and 9pm and the setlist for both was the same. This recording is generally thought to be from the early show. Marbal received his tape in February 1983. It was recorded with Dolby B and I left it off for this transfer. My thanks to goldenband for his customary speed correction advice. For AD and GITC/CWTAE a +2.22% adjustment was made. No change was required for FOS and STC. Set The Controls cuts on side A and continues on side B and I left a small gap to make it clear where this happens. STC was before FOS on the tape and I reversed them to reflect the order in which the songs were played. Neonknight, August 2015 |
