This is a transfer of a tape from the same source as MTR6969's transfer of this date, but has considerably more presence than most transfers of this recording that circulate. Some years ago I did a transfer of Ratpie's 2nd Gen (which Littlepieces mastered) and Stratcat58's tapes are slightly more forward and a better raw source in my opinion, though the sound-quality difference is marginal. Additionally, Marbal's 4th Gen (Pink Rudy transfer) is surprisingly good, given the stated generation, with the best top-end of any tapes circulating, but with more hiss.

Importantly, Stratcat58's tapes are more complete than either Ratpie's or Marbal's tapes, with complete announcements, and the start of Astronomy is uncut versus Ratpie's tape.

It should be noted that as far I can tell all circulating copies of this recording have bleed through from another recording from Set The Controls through to Cymbaline. This must have been introduced at quite a low generation.
