Recorded at the Pavillon de la Jeunesse, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Great audience recording. From the info file: Pink Floyd 1971-11-10 Quebec, Howard Gil tapes (24bit/96kHz) Pink Floyd Pavillon de la Jeunesse, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada 10 November 1971 Lineage: Maxell XLII 90 low gen cassettes > *Technics RS-B965-M > Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 > Reaper v4.61 > FLAC (24bit/96kHz) *The Technics RS-B965-M is a modified deck - for details see the Tapeheads.net forum xACT used to create FFP 01 Introduction 02 The Embryo 03 Fat Old Sun 04 Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun 05 One of these Days 06 Atom Heart Mother (cuts) 07 Cymbaline 08 Careful with that Axe, Eugene 09 Echoes 10 A Saucerful of Secrets Total running time 2 hours 14 mins 7 secs This is significantly brighter and crisper than other sources. I recorded Sides A and B at the same levels, then decreased the gain for C as it would otherwise of been too loud. Sides A and B are right channel weighted and C is better balanced but the sound deteriorates. The first few minutes of side A suffers with a wandering azimuth. CWTAE cuts on side B and continues on side C. Correction values were applied using élastique 2.28 Pro as follows: Side A: +0.87% Side B: +0.7% Side C: +0.87% My thanks to goldenband for advising on the speed. There's some slight variation between songs but we didn’t think it was necessary to meticulously tweak each song for the sake of a ~0.1% variation.
