Recorded at the Sportatorium, Hollywood, FL, USA. Very good audience recording. Other copies now seem blanketed and lack ambience. The right channel on Stratcat58's tape was quite a lot stronger than the left - often +4dB - so I brought it into balance using the gain controls on the front of the Saffire. The cassette was recorded with Dolby and I left it off for my transfer. There is a small amount of duplication of the applause and a 'thank you' from Roger at the end of side A and start of side B which I decided to leave intact. All the songs run fast on the cassette, and on goldenband's advice I applied a -5% correction to side A and -4.25% to side B. There's some variation throughout but it was not worth trying to chase down every little fluctuation. The only downside is that the first minute or so of Side A now runs a bit slow but it quickly catches up. Meanwhile both OOTD and STC speed up over the course of the song, and the latter has the same speed fluctuation after the third verse (at Roger's first whispered 'the heart of the sun') that seems to be on all copies.
