No big use for a 'new version' of it, but this comes from a friend´s box of videotapes, mostly recorded in the mid- to late-90s, many 'Rockpalast'- broadcast, exclusive VIVA - and MTV-Live stuff in excellent quality, recorded on obviously very good equipment he is still using. I don´t know about a complete re-broadcast of this Kyuss-show in the past years, I´ve seen a few clips on WDR here and there, but not the complete broadcast to create a proper DVD of it, but this VHS-version from this friend is stunning. He prepared a CD-R of the Audio-portion of it and this is the result. In my opinion, the best version I´ve heard so far. It´s your decision if you want to grab it. If you do so, have fun. Lineage: (from Jens) TV-broadcast (WDR) > Philips VR 665 (recording and transferring) > Magix Music Cleaning Lab 2008 (transferring, editing and splitting) > WAV > CD-R (from myself) CD-R > EAC > FLAC (via Traders Little Helper, Level 7 and tested) Transferred and edited by Jens Schreier. Ripped, encoded and uploaded by Oliver Jochum (uninvited94) on TTD (2008-02-10). -- reseed: retracked with volume adjustments and repairs [pops and clicks], no EQ or other processing applied; new FLAC-8 files and checksum files created and this info file revised; origial info file included. Thanks again to Jens Schreier and uninvited94 for this recording. a zootype reseed August 2016 --- original ffp flac fingerprints: 01-Gardenia.flac:46cec2a087cff4b2260239bcd5cd38f0 02-Hurricane.flac:b96c2716e2202049552b4ab04bf6664b 03-Freedom Run.flac:e6d481a0a6c54728ae29e2d39b26e2aa 04-Thee Ol' Boozeroony.flac:3f24f76f6f17e5f0b61fb83d8a8ee723 05-Supa Scoopa and Mighty Scoop.flac:26022775713202f82446fe3a4fcdf312 06-One Inch Man.flac:8920e79d18d4389829ceb581a13e57ac 07-Green Machine.flac:deb27908d42e6d45fa1fa69773d834d1 ---- new ffp: Kyuss-1995-08-19-Bizzare-Koln-tr01.flac:960d6ee494071523d752b968a679a87b Kyuss-1995-08-19-Bizzare-Koln-tr02.flac:7282d88b879e517f1babe19b48d8c38a Kyuss-1995-08-19-Bizzare-Koln-tr03.flac:420d18db974acdc134514fdcc621baf1 ----- |
