Pink Floyd 1972-03-13 Sapporo, Recorder 2, Marbal unknown gen (24bit/96kHz) Pink Floyd Nakanoshima Sports Centre, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan 13 March 1972 Unknown gen TDK SA90 and Maxell UDXLII60 cassettes (1985) > Technics RS-B565 > Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 > Reaper v4.76 > FLAC (24bit/96kHz) xACT used to create FFP 01 The Dark Side Of The Moon 02 One Of These Days 03 Careful With That Axe, Eugene 04 Echoes Total running time 1 hour 41 mins 54 secs (includes some repeated music) This is a bit of an odd one. On the plus side, thankfully, it does not have the reverb present on The Cold Side Of The Bow version. It also, for the most part, sounds better than my 3rd gen CDR. On the downside, it has strange voiceover type sounds during DSOTM, starting at 5m34s and 46m24s for example, and Echoes is lower quality than the rest of the recording. Marbal's tapes contain: A DSOTM (fades at the beginning of Eclipse) 46m51s B Tape is rewound a little and we have the rest of the DSOTM / OOTD / CWTAE / Echoes (fades) 47m7s C Echoes (complete) 29m4s, the Maxell tape (the wave form on the SA is a close match). This is a raw transfer. I consolidated the two parts of DSOTM into a single track and kept the repeat. The incomplete Echoes from side B has been removed except for a couple of opening pings, which I thought might be helpful for reference purposes.
