Porcupine Tree's debut in the US was a warm-up gig at Don Hill's in the Village in New York, a C&S Records showcase gig. The show was a mixed bag - the place was fairly small with a tiny stage and bad acoustics, the opening band (Poppy Seed) played for way too long, shortening PT's set, and to top it off Steve's guitar amp started smoking in the middle of Moonloop.
