Information source: http://thommi.mousenet.de/ptree/ ----------------------------------------------------- Below the line is the original text file that came with this torrent. I grabbed this off The Zomb the other day and was very impressed with it. Excelent sound! I've heard remastered official live albums worse than this!!! All I've added to the package is an MD5 and and FFP, and sorted the artwork out as there were some 'Word Spell Check' wigglies under some of the words. I did the best I could, but I've also left the originals intact. I really like the 'Porcupine Tree' picture!!! Anyway.... Enjoy!!! Novak ----------------------------------------------------- Porcupine Tree 2002-11-25 The Fillmore, San Francisco, CA, US [SBD] This is the best-sounding Porcupine Tree bootleg I've heard to date . It's durring the In Absentia tour so it has Gavin on drums; interestingly his snare sounds somewhat tighter than it did on Ariving Somewhere. His fills are more explosive in this performance, as well, which might be a good thing and might not. Depends on how you like your drums. Stephen does a fair bit of talking inbetween songs on this one, also, which is always a treat for me. As it's a soundboard from 2002 the quality is of course excellent; the mix of instraments is pretty good, although Stephen's vocs and Gavin's snare drum could use a bit of a boost and the bass drum tends to thud over everything. Note that this is *not* the original source, which had a very dominant trebble sound; the ring's still present in this version but it's not nearly as offensive. I dunno if Mixwell's a PT fan or not but if he is I'd be curious to hear his thoughts on how it could be improved, though I really doubt that he'd be able to do very much as it's already quite stellar. Anyway--digression over, hope you all enjoy. setlist: Blackest Eyes [4:55] The Sound Of Muzak [6:05] Gravity Eyelids [7:40] Even Less [7:16] Slave Called Shiver [4:34] Wedding Nails [6:30] Last Chance To Evacuate Planet Earth [5:30] Shesmovedon [5:30] Hatesong [10:30] Stop Swimming [6:31] The Creator Had A Mastertape [6:07] Heartattack In A Layby [4:11] Strip The Soul [7:47] encore break / Waiting (Phase One) [6:58] Tinto Brass [7:55] |
