The venue is Glasgow Carling Academy and the crowd are well fired up for some great Porcupine Tree music. My friend Darrel and I situated ourselves around 30-40 ft away from the front of the stage dead centre. The band were on fire. Highlights for me were 'Blackest Eyes', 'Hatesong' and 'A Smart Kid' from the Stupid Dream album. The latter pleasantly surprised me as I'd never heard this song live before. Oor Wullie ---------- Mastering Notes: ---------------- First of 2 recordings we got from the show. Only thing I did with this recording is reduce bass slightly and HL down some of the clappers....the actual recording comes in at around -1dB near perfect. Even with the bass cut it is still dominant and I left it like this to retain the actual feel of the show.
