What a venue. Again, magic. I was there for Moonmadness and, just like in 2013, I had a blast hearing the second set with music I am not as familiar with. Camel really blows my mind, and the band today sounds as good as ever. My only negative is this - I know that Andy likes Another Night better this way, he thought the original version didn't that drum pattern. I think they should have done the original version for this tour, and then done the 'new' version on the next run. It's a minor issue though, but something I found myself thinking a lot about during the song. The sound is excellent, apart from a few talkers close to me who also had bought crisps in a plastic bag which made some noise in some of the quiet parts. Crisps, really? At a concert? Why would they even sell it? And when the phone rang behind me, and the guy actually ANSWERED IT? Sometimes the world just does not make sense. See you next time when Ozzy plays. I'll bring a chicken casserole and some chocolate, if you bring folding chairs and a table. And grandma. And the picture slides from little John Henry's baptism. That's more important than the band anyway, right? Spacebandit/RMCH 2021/03/18 |
