Released in the UK in 1981, this is a bright, full and crisp source of the Live At Pompeii 1972 mono mix.

My VHS is in VG+ condition overall but there are a few places where the tape falters. Another copy of this increasingly rare release that I have heard is quite dark in comparison.

The mono version is different to the 1974 stereo production in a number of ways. Examples include:

* A more spacey start to the Intro, which doesn't feature the familiar DSOTM inspired heartbeat
* No vocal reverb in Echoes
* Gilmour's guitar enters later in Echoes Part I in the mono version
* Clear and sinister whispering in the opening to Echoes, Part II and the crows at 35 seconds on the stereo version are absent.

Goldenband advised me to apply a standard -4% change to compensate for PAL speedup.

I wanted to keep both channels and azimuth adaptive matching and adaptive azimuth alignment in iZotope helped me ensure that they are well balanced.
