Recorded at the Clyde Auditorium, Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, Glasgow, UK. Very good audience recording (a bit bassy and distant though). A solid EX- I decided to break away from the pack and squeeze the whole of set 2 and encores onto one CD for convenience's sake. The shock and horror of not hearing 3m30secs of rapturous applause at the end of 'Echoes' will fade soon enough, I feel. Does anyone bother to listen to those third CDs? ;-) . The only other noticeable thing that has been cut from the recording is a few secs of the WYWH intro, which was barely audible anyway due to audience chatter. You'll still hear a snippit of applause here, which I've deliberately left in to show I've not missed anything important out. Glasgow, IMHO, was indeed a special night with the setlist following favourable lines - no daft guests ruining treasured songs or introducing boring ones. The crowd was 'up for it', adding a good atomsphere, but without being too rowdy and spoiling the band's great performace. The better than average accoustics of the 'Armadillo' meant the performance was given in near ideal conditions and I'm sure everyone there that night knew that they had witnessed something a bit special.
