Rosebud - Discoballs, a tribute to Pink Floyd (vinyl) |

|
Notes |
A very special kind of Pink Floyd tribute album, consisting of tracks arranged as classic disco songs! If you have the same strange kind of humor as I do, you'll appreciate this album a lot! :) This album is OOP, what we have here is a very good transfer from LP. Note: this is the 16bit version, as opposed to what's mentioned in the info file below (24bit). From the info file: Created by elektrolad ATLANTIC F 50446 1977 (Vinyl LP rip) 1. Have A Cigar 2. Free Four 3. Summer '68 4. Interstellar Overdrive 5. Money 6. One Of These Days 7. Arnold Layne 8. Main Theme 'More' 9. Have a cigar (12' disco mix) This is not my usual upload. No dts this time cause it was not a quad lp. A little odd, but not really. Pink Floyd had one of the biggest disco hits of 1980 with 'Another Brick In The Wall Pt.2' Their songs have been covered by a wide variety of musicians. I even have a few white label remixes of their songs. Rosebud was a one off studio project. Not a lot of info is available. 'Have A Cigar' was a huge dance hit in the US in 1977/78. Equipment used: *JVC linear turntable *M-Audio Delta 66 Professional 6-In/6-Out Audio sound card *Sony Sound Forge 8.0 *Nero Burning Rom Professionally cleaned vinyl lp treated with LAST Record Preservative. 24 bit recording -------------------------------------------------------------------- Credits: Bass - Jannick Top Drums - André Sitbon Flute - Abdelhamid Hmaoui Guitar - Claude Engel Harmonica - René Gary Keyboards - Michel Coeuriot Orchestrated By, Mixed By - Claude Sahakian Percussion - Jean Schultheis Producer - A.
