Recorded at Earls Court, London, UK. Excellent audience recording. From the info file: Pink Floyd Earls Court, London 6th August 1980 Taper: Nigel Bradder Recording made from Block 22, Row S seat 111 (Upfront central position) Equipment Used: Technics Single Point Stereo Microphone->Sony TC-153SD Cassette Deck->Sony BHF90 cassettes (2 off used). The transfer was made on the 2nd October 2005 from the two master Sony BHF90 cassettes owned by Nigel Bradder. The transfer was made as follows: - Playback via Nakamichi ZX-7 cassette deck with manual adjustment to height and azimuth of playback head to match that of the original tape recorder to optimise the sound during playback. Direct connection to analogue input of Audiophile 2496 soundcard via high quality Clicktronic interconnects with 24K gold plugs. Recording made at 48KHz 16bit resolution to wav file. The three wav files from the cassettes were concatenated into a single wav using Adobe Audition. The 48kHz source has been re-sampled to 44.1kHz to be compatible with a normal CD then split into individual wav files and saved in FLAC format The resulting wave files have NOT been re-mastered or changed in ANY way this is a direct copy of the master tape. This is an excellent quality recording in stereo and I believe it is the best audience recording of this night. For give away or trade only - do not sell or .mp3 (except for your own use).
