Pink Floyd 1980-February-07 At the L.A. Sports Arena in Los Angeles , CA. , USA. Equipment used : Sony TCD5 Recorder and Sennheiser MKH-404 Microphones. Lineage : Cass. Master > CD > CDWave > Flac8. Onkyo TA-RW244 / Harmon Kardon CDR-20 / PC / TLH CDWave for re-tracking. TLH for Flac 8 - Verified / Aligned / Tested. I (we) recorded this show from the Loge area at the end of the floor seating , straight back from the stage , 1 section to the right of center , and used TDK SA-C60 tapes. Well , I can only presume that this is a new source , as I have only traded it less than a handful of times (b4 P2P). I don't even know which recorder # this would be ? It sounds very nice if you can get past the flaws , which I don't have the tech./equip. to repair. Just thought I'd get it out in it's raw form. My guess would be EX+/SUP- , you decide. Notes : 1 Constant (quick heartbeat) sound in right channel (tape deck transport problem). 2 Left channel microphone dropouts on disc 1. 3 Tracks ID'd with an ** , are in mono , due to #2 above. d1tr07 - 'Mother' is (stereo/mono/stereo). 4 Paused the tape during the 'Curtains on Fire' from the fireworks deal. 5 All tape flips were between tracks , only missing a second or two.
