| Recorded at the Grand Theatre, Verviers, Belgium. Very good audience recording. From the info file: Camel live at the Grand Theatre de Verviers, Belgium 25 October 2003 Farewell Tour Hi folks, grabbed this in a trade recently and thought I'd share it with you, seems it hasn't been up here on DIME, at least it's no more in the database. This recording from the European leg of the Farewell Tour is of rather good quality, a bit distant, but in general a nice offering. No surprises when it comes to the setlist, if you already know other recordings from that tour, 'Lawrence' which wasn't a regular part of setlists, at least according to http://members.cox.net/scottstrades/Camel_Performances.html. The return of Ton Scherpenzeel into the Camel ranks for this performance gives it a somewhat nostalgic flavour... Again, this recording comes from a trade, and unfortunately, I don't have any information about recording gear, lineage etc. I got these in a trade as FLACs and only converted them to WAV to create the setlist and check for lossiness. A third disc included a track called 'final discussion' - well, basically the taper recorded Andy's and other peoples' chats after the show. Don't expect anything sensational, it's not really exciting...I was very much in doubt if I should leave it out but since it's part of the recording...just be warned!
