I've searched the dead torrents and can't see that they have been on Dime before - apologies to the moderators if that's not the case. I attach below the original comments I made at the time. Some art was created for this series after it was launched and I've added it. Captain Ransid - August 09 Comments This is a direct transfer from 20 year old master recording on a good old TDK AD120, using a Sony Recording Walkman and seperate Stereo mic. The transfer was from tape deck (Aiwa AD-F800) to Audio CD recorder, then EAC to WAV to FLAC. The recording is quite quiet and thus tape hiss is fairly prominent, but not disasterously so. This was a rather special set with the boys adding back some numbers that had been missing for a long time! The set opened with a tape intro and then a short instrumental segment, into A+N. Fascination was again returned to the set, followed by the extremely rare 'special for tonight' track from Seven Stories... 'For The Taking'. Martin then showed off a little and played the rarely performed solo, My Baby Treats Me right.... segued into The enemy, as per the album, followed by some more common tracks. Mike sufferred his perennial guitar problems resulting in an impromtu organ solo from Martin before the first encore. IQ played a number of Marquee headlines during 1984 and included a cover as one of the encores for most of them - this night was no different with Queen's 'Now I'm Here' being the choice, confusing a number of people, who thought it was Turn It On Again (Genesis) from the intro!. A second encore resulted in the manic as ever Stomach! Peter announced that there would be a short gap before more UK gigs and that they would be returning to the Marquee for 2 consecutive Headline gigs in early July - a first!.
