Collection of TV appearances. Too bad this is audio only. :) SQ varies but is very good overall. See info file below for more detailed info. From the info file: Well, I'm finally getting around to digitizing my 700+ cassettes (at my wife's insistence--she wants them out of the house), so I'm going to start posting some goodies here. I taped many a show in the Toronto area from the late '80's to the late '90's, and also recorded a lot of radio broadcasts, mostly from CFNY, 102.1 in Toronto. Hope you stumble across something you like, or even a show you were at! addendum: I have had many comments about the fate of my tapes, so for those worried about them...the masters I am boxing up and storing in my parents' basement. The others (mixed tapes, recorded LP's, etc) are getting tossed. My wife is not evil or insensitive--we live in a small place, and the many boxes were getting in the way. This is something I'VE wanted to do for awhile, as well. She just gave me the push. Oh, and she doesn't have shelves of makeup, or hundreds of shoes, no matter what stereotypes you care to buy in to. Her comic collection, however.... Kate Bush--TV appearances, 1978-85 A lot of the tapes I bought via the mail were soundtracks from TV appearances. Much of them were useless--really, if some video show plays the 'Army Dreamers' video, do we need an audio capture of that? Surely not. I have gone through the tapes, and removed anything like that. Sometimes, that left only the interviews. Sometimes, nothing. On some of these shows, though, there are in-studio live performance (a very different 'December Will Be Magic Again' on Winter Showtime, for instance), and sometimes footage from the tour. I would like to point out that I have since seen the video for the Swedish TV specials, and the live tour material is NOT from the Hammersmith Odeon video. Basically, I removed anything I had any doubts about at all. Sound quality varies--who knows what gen video was used for what gen audio. I would love to see the video for the Nationwide doc about the tour--the rehearsal sounds fascinating. Oh well, perhaps it will surface one day. Lineage: unknown gen tape of unknown gen video from TV>M audio sound card>wav>flac editing with CDWav. Track Listing: each show in a separate folder Ask Aspel--Sept. 5, 1978 01. intro 02.
