Opened it during dinner, did a quick set-up, the batteries read full (they didn't make it) and went to the gig. Turned it on, set the levels, dropped it in my shirt pocket and forgot about it. My only intentions were to make sure it worked, I gave no thought to the recording itself. First because I didn't put much faith in the internal mics and second I was sitting in the gallery, not a great place to tape from. As yet I've not seen a taping from this show so I salvaged what I could. Best suited for somebody who was at the show and would like some tracks or for the completist. It was a great night, Massey Hall is a perfect venue for Tori and one of my favourites in Toronto. So here it is, 'warts 'n' all',hopefully some of you will enjoy hearing it. |
