For me personally, out of the hundreds of shows I've seen, this show was easily the best and I seriously doubt I'll ever see another show like this. Absolutely mindblowing. And to think that I was contemplating on not going because of the high price of tickets. After seeing the show, I'd gladly pay double even if it was half as good as this. Recording notes: Recorded from the right side of the soundboard at section G, row 41 seat 15, which was the first seat right from the soundboard. Needless to say, it was pretty much the ideal location for recording. At the beginning of the recording, you can hear me clipping on the microphones, as I simply couldn't do it before the lights went out, thanks to the security standing only a foot away from me. Mastering details: The raw recording sounded so good to begin with that I chose to not adjust anything but the volume on it. Thanks to the venue being rather large and generally having really bad echoing problems, you can hear that on the recording but I find it's not bad enough to detract from the enjoyment of both the show and the recording. I'd wager a bet that Hartwall Arena has never sounded so good before. Torrent notes: If there's enough interest, I can share the 24bit 48KHz version as well. Generally when I've done that, very few have opted for the DVD-A version, thus I'm not sharing it by default. Feel free to make cover art or remaster this how ever you like. As it's rather futile to even try and stop mp3's from circulating, all I ask is that if you share it lossy somewhere, please at the very least add a note where to get a proper lossless copy. As for the possible remasters and covers, just let me know if you do so, I'd like to hear/see it too. - Borlag on April 28th 2011 |
