Recorded at the Knebworth Park, Hertfordshire, UK. Good audience recording. From the info file: MAXELL UDXLII C90 UNKNOWN GENERATION / KNEBWORTH 5.7.75 recorder 3 Knebworth Park, Hertfordshire, England, July 5th 1975 from Marbal tapes Sound Quality: VG/VG+ Source: Audience (recorder 3) Tape ...... Maxell UDXLII C90 unknown generation cassettes w/ Dolby B Transfer .. Sony CD/Cass deck TXD-RE210 > Creative Sounblaster X-FI Platinum > WAV 24/48 > Soundforge 8 (merge, edit and careful index) > Cdwave (to split the unknown Eclipse/Echoes) > FLAC 24/48 (level 5). Total time = 105:07m + 25:30m half Eclipse / Echoes Set 1 (54:27m) - all in one big FLAC file 1. Tunings 2. RAVING & DROOLING 3. Tunings / YGBC false start 4. YOU GOTTA BE CRAZY 5. SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND 1-5 inner cut 6. HAVE A CIGAR 7. SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND 6-9 Set 2 (50:40m) 1. SPEAK TO ME > ECLIPSE cut (50:40m) Extra (25:30m) 1. ECLIPSE / ECHOES from rec5 or different date (25:30m) Not bad at all. Judge for yourself. To me is better than recorder 2, maybe just as average as recorder 1, not that defined but has better bass and drums have more 'punch' if you allow me the expression. Recorder 4 is still the best sounding recording of this date. Eclipse cuts and another Eclipse patchs in, but sounds very bad as well as Echoes compared to the main recording. That Eclipse/Echoes should be from rec5, or even a different date, I haven't checked to be honest. -gbc |
