Recorded at the Meistersinger Halle, Nuremberg, West Germany. Very good audience recording. From the info file: Pink Floyd Date: 14 March, 1970 Location: Meistersinger Halle, Nuremberg, West Germany Source: Cassette(2)>DAT(2)>SHN(48Khz) Rating: VG Disc One: 1. Astronomy Domine 10:39 2. Careful With That Axe, Eugene 10:04 3. Cymbaline 10:29 4. A Saucerful Of Secrets (partial) 16:02 5. A Saucerful Of Secrets (completion) 6:17 6. Embryo 10:48 7. Interstellar Overdrive 15:00 8. Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun 13:52 9. The Amazing Pudding 22:10 Total: 115:21 Comments: Big upgrade over my previous versions! This comes from the 2nd generation tape. The show is complete, 'Saucerful Of Secrets' is there in its entirety. The sound is still harsh sometimes, but much much better than anything I've heard before from this gig. A solid VG seems fair for this nice show. Good setlist, solid performance too. There are some minor speed fluctuations, but they are minor and episodic. Includes tuneups. - 'Cymbaline' - There is a break after the track, probably for a tape flip (30 minutes) - 'ASOS' - There is some distortion, right channel only, prior to 'Celestial Voices'. The track ends early during David's vocal solo. Track 5 covers the distorted channel and missing segment in track 4. Two different sources? |
