Recorded at the Key Arena, Seattle, WA, USA. Excellent audience recording. From the info file: The Wall Live in Seattle 5-24-12 I would like to finally return the favor to all of you for years and gigabytes worth of live Floyd with my recording of the Seattle stop of The Wall tour, May 24, 2012. This is my first post so apologies in advance if I screw anything up. This show was recorded with a Tascam DR-40 using it's own mic's in 24 bit/96k stereo and absolutely no processing of any kind. My seat was the first in row 9 on the floor, just to the right of the stage, (if I only had video as well!), I tried to keep the recorder at just below chest height for consistency but there were a couple of moments that I forgot about the recorder so the sound muddies up a bit. Overall I am extremely pleased with the result, in particular the sound effects and low end rumbling and explosions came out very clear and free of any significant distortion. I have another version recorded simultaneously at a lower level and using the DR-40's peak reduction effect but I find this version to be a better listening experience. I plan to attempt another version of this show after spending some time with this recording in Cubase and once it is finished would be happy to share it as well if anyone is interested.
