From the info file: . ******************************************************************************************* New York 1971-11-05 (16bit/44kHz) ***Recorder 1*** Pink Floyd Assembly Hall, Hunter College New York City, New York November 5th 1971 Lineage: Low Gen Cassette > CDR(0) > EAC > Wav > TLH > FLAC (16bit/44kHz) ----> Samplitude10 (32bit/44kHz) > Wav (16bit/44kHz) > CDWave (1.98) > FLAC ***Neonknight's Notes*** For your enjoyment, here's a copy of Recorder 1 of this concert that represents a new source to the general community. I received it on a pair of CDs around 10 years ago from a well-connected European trader who had a small but very nice collection. ***Littlepieces' Mastering Notes*** This is a mono recording that was processed as two channel stereo. It has a phase shift that varies some but is generally about 1-3 samples. The right channel's output is about 5db lower than the left though its levels move up and down at times. The right channel didn't respond to a gain increase very well and also seemed to offer no additional content more than the left, so I used only the left channel which resolved any phasing and level issues. Its sounds as if the taper has the mic muffled a bit during the audience segment preceding 'Embryo' and uncovers it immediately after the beginning of 'Embryo'. I removed dead air and 10s repeated segment at ~6:20m of STC and spliced seemlessly. I also replaced 1s dropout in left channel with right channel and increased the gain to match the left channel at ~8:35m of STC. Note that the recording sounds a bit muffled for 10s from 2:58m-3:08m of AHM as the taper is apparently adjusting his levels higher. So the gain was increased 1.5db for the first 3:08m of AHM to better match the remainder. Also, I repaired a dropout at ~1:28m of AHM. Repaired/smoothed a couple tape stop/starts before OoTD. On 'CWTAE' from ~3:18m-3:24m the left channel dropped down so it was replaced with the right channel and the gain increased 3.0-3.6db to better match the adjacent segments. Apparent tape flip/change at ~6:36m of 'CWTAE' creating inside cut, so I removed the dead air and spliced. The taper was starting his deck during the intro of 'Echoes' which created a little stutter that I removed and spliced to help smooth it. Apparent tape flip/change at 24:32m of 'Echoes' creating inside cut, so I removed the dead air and spliced. I also used the right channel to replace left channel dropout at 24:44m of 'Echoes'. The speed is sometimes a bit off, mostly fast, but within 1.3% so I chose not to subject it to a resample/SpC. I also removed a few other noises and dead air during the tapers stops and starts.
