Recorded at the Stiftshof, Ossiach, Austria. Very good audience recording. From the info file: Pink Floyd 3 Internationales Musikforum Ossiachersee 1971, Stiftshof, Ossiach, Austria 1971-07-01 92'00' Straight transfer from a 1st Gen > DAT clone. Compared with 'The Depths Of Space' this is a far easier listen, sounding far less compressed, and more natural. A note on the transfer. I received this as a straight DAT dump to FLAC via Audacity. I used xACT to convert the FLAC file to WAV so that I could normalise it, and split it into tracks. I then used xACT again to re-encode to FLAC. I also wrote this info file. FLAC encoded at DAT native sample resolution of 48Khz. Downsample to transfer to Audio CD but please do not distribute / share downsampled copies. Unknown Gen Cassette > DAT 48khz > FLAC > WAV > FLAC Analogue Transfer: Unknown DAT Transfer: Sony DTC-690 DAT recorder > Edirol UA-1D > Audacity 1.3 Beta (Unicode) > FLAC xAXT 1.58 used to convert to WAV and back to FLAC. Peak 5.02 used to trim leading and trailing silences, split into tracks, and Normalise. No other processing performed. = 1. Tuning 2. Return Of The Son Of Nothing 3. Careful With That Axe, Eugene 4. Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun 5. Atom Heart Mother Transfer by IP. FLAC reauthoring and info file by Beechwoods, 8th February 2007. |
