| Recorded at the ArenA, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Very good audience recording. A sold-out Amsterdam ArenA (40.000+) witnessed a very well performed Wall-show on a Sunday night. Waters finally -after five Wall shows in The Netherlands- managed to speak some Dutch sentences to the audience after 'Mother'. The well-known bad acoustics of the ArenA were apparant, especially during the second half of the show, but as this recording (made from the main floor, about 25 meters in front of the stage) shows, the sound between sound desk and stage was reasonably good. The sound effects coming from both sides of the stadium were recorded very well too. After 'Outside The Wall', Roger again refered to the early days of Floyd performing in Amsterdam (Paradiso) and called this Wall-show in Amsterdam 'a moving performance'. The audience was audibly enjoying themselves; this recording contains some chatter, mainly from some teenage boys standing in front of the taper who were *really* astonished by the performance. Apart from some fade in/outs at the start and end of each of the two parts, this recording is being seeded here 'as it is' and has not been circulating before.
