LDB Special Series #459 (RLR Collection)

Out of my 17,000+ shows and radio broadcasts, I have many concerts that were special for some reasons: the setlist, the
musicians, the venue or unexpected events. These are the ones I'd like to propose you. Most of these come from my
cassettes collection, so they will be released at a slower pace than my Master Series! But you won't be disappointed!
I will try to gather the most unusual things I have in my collection and, as always, your feedback and comments will be my
reward for all the work involved in this project.

DO NOT share this music on mp3, just convert it for your own use. Sharing mp3's is the right way to make me stop sharing
music here.

Same master source as 'Recorder 1'
but not the same copy. RLR also got this one in the early 80´s. What is different here is that I left untouched both cuts
during Money and One Of These Days so you can hear how these were in the original recording. In the other source, these
are crossfaded.

It sounds very very good and clear despite being more than 40 years old recording.
The show must have been recorded on 2 c60 tapes, which explains the tape flip during Money (at 32´...tapes used to have a
few minutes more on each side), and this is how it was on RLR tapes. This could also be the reason why Childhood´s End was
not recorded. Previous versions of this show were sourced from a c90+c60 tapes.

I really love the sound of this recording. Being myself at Hallestadion, I could guess that the recording was made from the
1st row stalls because audience and applauses are minimal and the sound is a bit echoying. You can really feel that strange
mix of 'quiet wildness' which was how some friends who saw this tour reported to me.

Overall, an extremely nice listening experience.
