Marbal received his tape in October 1985. It was recorded with Dolby B and I left it off for this transfer.
The left channel of Marbalís tape is significantly stronger and when I compensated for this in the transfer it pushed up the hiss levels significantly so I dropped the right. The recording is now clearer and has better high end. Dropping the weak channel also dealt with some dropouts.
With thanks to goldenband for his advice, I additionally applied a speed correction of +4.13% and removed a tiny repeat from the middle of CWTAE. This shudder is also present on the DAT versions. The beginning of AD is a bit slower and the latter part of IO is a bit faster but it was not practical to change the speed mid-song.
