One of his decks was playing up so we started trading on CDR instead. Although incomplete, littlepieces and I liked the sound on this recording so decided it was worth working on for sharing more widely. ***Littlepieces' Mastering Notes*** This is a stereo recording and the same recorder as Fourth Eclipsed Night (HL593/594). It's missing a bit of audience at the very beginning as well as 'CWTAE', but it is smoother and less noisey than Highland's 'Fourth Eclipsed Night' which sounds boosted or equalized. The tracks are Dark Side Of The Moon and Echoes on CDR1 and One Of These Days and Atom Heart Mother on CDR2. I arranged the tracks in their proper order, removed a small repeated segment during the 'Echoes' intro, and removed the dead air between any tracks. There were two adjacent 1/8 second cuts-disruptions about 2s into BD. Each had nasty pops on either side of each gap. I removed the gaps and pops and spliced the two sides together. What remains is a mic bump at the very beginning of BD followed 2s later by an artifact thats sounds like another mic bump but is in fact what remains after the cut and splice. I increased the gain of the right channel 1.9db for 'Echoes' and the first part of 'AHM'. The speed was fast and often varied. Adjustments were made from 103.8% to 107.6%. Set 1 (49:31) 01.
