Pink Floyd 'Chicago 6/72' Superb DSOTM from Low-Gen Reel to Reel NTSC Audio DVDr

And here we come to a rather tasty tidbit...

I am rather inclined to think that this is a new recorder of the April 28th Chicago show, but I could be wrong on both accounts. For one thing, it's not Bert13's tape. For another, there's definitely a video tape in the lineage here - the carrier signal is plainly visible in the waveforms and there were several drops in the sound, hopefully all found and fixed.

This is perhaps the nicest early performance this guy has ever had the pleasure to hear. As I think this tops both the Hollywood Bowl and Rainbow concerts from the same year, why do I say that? This show is so good it makes you float. The boys are relaxed and into it - I mean *really* into it, and it shows from beginning to end. The recording is also almost as good as it gets for an audience tape.

You know... well, hells bells - let's come out with it. If this is something new to your ears, and you know there's a video tape in the lineage... someone's hoarding the rest of this show.

YOU!!! OUT WITH IT!!

Lineage: BASF reel ->Sound Forge ->(-)16.7 cents speed correction ->gap repairs (hopefully all done) ->track splitup ->Lplex. This is a DVDr with a black screen.

Enjoy!
