The short story : I wasn't at Firenze for the show, some friends asked me to make a complete video document for the evening. The problem was that was impossible found songs, seems that nobody recorded them, or who recorded was out of the many internet groups where we searched. As final result, some songs was incomplete as video (Faces Of Stone, A Boat Lies Waiting and The Blue) but in the end result a satisfied effort, with a nice and complete audio. The same day that I seeded the DVD on Y! an Italian guy sent me a message because wanted know if I used some videos from an Italian blog. My reply was 'NO!' so started this upgrade project, and added new video from taper 'Giain'. The videos in the blog are edited with other stuff, I tried to contact him for have the master, but I hadn't reply, so I used what I downloaded. What change? Faces Of Stone, A Boat Lies Waiting and The Blue are more complete, I think miss in total two or three minutes. I added many pieces on In Any Tongue, Astronomy Domine, On An Island, The Girl In The Yellow Dress and Today. The other songs have little pieces. It's simple recognize what I changed, in the a corner you can read 'GIAIN'. Why 3 DVD? I started this upgrade from a higher bitrate then the DVD-DL that I made, from my backup (8000 kb/s) and the lights for Astronomy Domine and Run Like Hell are better, so decided to leave this as quality. I didn't make a HD video because some video are made with an old camera, so make a big size video with low source haven't sense. I know a guy that is working with a double multicam project for Verona and Firenze, and in HD, so be patient. Nino G. : he is a legend for us Italian floydians, with his groups, and with his great heart for both the Gilmour gigs. He asked me if I wanted made it, and after helped me with the video research. Andrea Z. : he had in program to made a video for the event, but sometimes we can't make our ideas, but he donated very kindly all his video stuff and helped me with YouTube video 'lost'. Mino M. : he donated at the project his beautiful pics, used for slide, artwork and menu. Floyd42 : no words for him, he has always something rare in our hubs world! Giain : his video had useful for this upgrade. And thanks for who shared their video on YouTube and Facebook, I don't know their name. And now I can tell that this is the harder and longer work that I made in those years!
