After two great shows on the pool deck - Anglagard and PFM - it was the Spinnaker Lounge's turn to host the next round of amazing performances. I had already missed most of the first one as I hurried over from PFM, arriving in time for the final song of the Dave Kerzner Band's set, a blistering version of 'Into The Sun', at the end of which Fernando Perdomo destroyed his guitar in front of a stunned crowd. As the lounge emptied out, I secured a great spot for Airbag's upcoming performance. Based on the strength of their show the previous day, it was well worth the hour wait, and Airbag did not disappoint, this time relying heavily on songs from their 2013 release, 'The Greatest Show On Earth.' In my opinion, this was the better of their two performances, and one of the best of the entire cruise. |
