Held the recorded on shoulder height, as that was all that was possible at this impossibly overcrowded market square. surprised to have gotten such a good recording with it. the few times it sounds muffled (slightly) is when i reached down to close or open my raincoat, depending on whether or not it started/stopped to rain
David seemed to be in a super mood (listen to him declaring his love to polly when he announces that they will have been married for 22 yrs about twelve minutes before midnight of the 28th.
sound was fantastic, as many others have already mentioned. had worried about the sound possibly bouncing back from the buildings on the opposite side of the stage.
Also, considering the amount of windows of private residences on that square, i would not be surprised to see some MAJORLY amazing video sources pop up.
The rain was amazing as it crossed the various lasers/lights.
Loved it when he introduced the band and said that it was going to be 'his last show with us, as he's been stolen away by SUPERIOR BEINGS', lol....
Sorrow was the song of the evening for me. After the intro i thought to myself, this CANNOT be topped, then came the outro...
Hope you enjoy this recording as much as i did.
