The recent flurry of Jadis shows on Dime led me to dig out my original recording of my first time seeing them at Mr Kyps in 2007. I don't remember

too much about the gig apart from being impressed by the band & their music.
I'm pretty sure this recording has not been posted previously on Dime (though it was shared with a few folks the old fashioned way back in the day

.... so some out there might have a copy of my original mastered version).
I ran the original recording through my current mastering process which has improved the sound compared to my original mastering from 2007. It

sounds great - check out the samples posted below.

For those interested - basic details of the mastering applied to my original LS-14 recording (using Wavelab 6 & HarBal 2.3) are as follows:
A: Balance left & right channel volume & frequency response
B: Apply balancing EQ
C: Adjust stereo image
D: Apply Compression / Limiting (-1dB max) (bass balance, tighten up the sound & increase average rms volume level to approx -14dB)
E: Add silent lead-in/lead-out and fade ins & outs
F: track split

A note for any finicky audiophiles out there:
Mastering has been done to polish the raw master recording with the aim of enhancing the listening experience. If you prefer virgin recordings,

unspoiled by any such amateur 'dabbling' then do not join in on this one. Be warned now ... I don't want any whingeing! ;-)

But for the rest of you Dime'ers I recommend that you GO FOR THIS ONE ... you won't be disappointed!
I score the sound quality as 9 out of 10 ( = A- ); but hey! ... don't flame me if you don't agree ... & at least keep it friendly ;-)

If you have any comments, whether positive, negative or otherwise, I would love to read them ... don't be a lurker!
