I experimented with different approaches to Eq matching the audio sources in the meantime. Thought it came out nice and decided to share the remastered DVD now. The video sources were edited slightly at the beginning and ending of each set. Set 1: 5 A.M. Converted the audio to WAV Linear PCM files in the process. Audio Remaster Processing (See notes below) Authoring: TMPGEnc Authoring Works 5 > synchonized WAV remastered audio tracks > edited tracks, created and named chapters, and created menues > processed DVD files to hard drive > shared to you. Audio Remaster Notes: Adobe Audition 2017 CC Appended Set 1 and Set 2 extracted audio from the video source caudio files Original files are converted to 48000 hz 32 bit WAV for processing Volume matched Set 1 to Set 2 The audio files are then volume matched to -20.95 LUFS HarBal 3.7 Set 1 source audio was Dolby Digital and Set 2 source audio was MPEG-1 Audio Layer II. Set 1 audio dropped straight down at about 18 khz and Set 2 audio dropped at about 13 khz. Created an eq reference of the appended audio files of set 1 and 2 Eq Matched Set 1 eq to the eq reference of the appended audio files of sets 1 and 2 up to about 18 Khz. Eq Matched Set 2 eq to the eq reference of the appended audio files of sets 1 and 2 up to about 13 Khz. Tweaked and outputed processed audio files Adobe Audition 20175 CC Eq matched audio files are loaded into Audition Automatic Phase Correction - Auto Center Panning Matched the volume to -14 LUFS with max peak level of.2 dbTP using tru peak limiting for Sets 1 and 2.
