It must be from a relatively early analogue transfer because the tape is generally in markedly less worn condition than the 1st gen or master. Much of the time it has slightly less high end and more hiss than the 1st gen that I released in February 2014 but compensates for this by being nicely balanced. The 2nd gen is missing 29 seconds of tape between Beset By Creatures Of The Deep and ASoS compared to the 1st gen. On the other hand there is a fragment more tape at the very end. Unfortunately the master transfer sounds the worst of the three. I used iZotope to match the channels and align the azimuth, then added 1.27dB in Reaper before handing over my FLACs to Bert13 to work on. The recording required a greater speed correction than my 1st gen release. Adjustments were made by Bert13 with Adobe Audition 3.0.1.
