PREPARING THE RECORDING
For starters I arrived too late thanks to heavey traffic. So I missed the start of The
Incident. For part 1 I was standing a bit under a balcony. After the break I could shift a
bit more to the middle. This caused difference in the sound of set 1 and 2. Therefore I
used different settings to correct them.
The recording sounded muffled and the bass was way too loud. This was corrected, giving
this recording more clarity. Actually the vocals and guitars are pretty clear. It took me
a bit of experimenting to get rid of the saturated bass without it becoming too thin sounding.
After the correction, tracks were split at sector boundaries.
Flacs are tagged for convenient playback on compatible systems.

ABOUT THE CONCERT
Anciennce Belgique is a small venue in the centre of Brussels. At the start of this set
something with the bass guitar apparently was wrong and the song Great Expectations had to
be restarted. Due to my arriving late, I missed the recording of this 'incident'. But the
good part about it is that in the end I have the incident almost complete (missing songs
1 - 3). Ancienne Belgique has a strict policy of ending on time, so with the setback at the
start, the band had to drop a song from the setlist in the second part.
Also this is not a perfect set. But mistakes happen and it only shows humans at work.
Nevertheless, you get Stars Die in the setlist, the first time it was played on this tour.
Enjoy it!
