This is Ruff Snax Remaster No 1. Sept 2004

I picked up this CD some time ago but have only now just got round to sorting it out. This show was part of the Tenth Anniversary tour which saw only Andy Latimer left of the original line-up. I liked the Single Factor LP that they were also promoting, I thought it had some really good stuff (especially Manic), but I digress.

The Show itself suffered from hiss which was reduced without (hopefully) loosing any 'atmosphere'. The show was mastered to make it a little bit more 'Bright and Punchy' whilst boosting the volume only slightly. The show, including the fades, is as I got it. No edits were done. There are three fades on disc one, all at the end of tracks- numbers 07, 10 and 13 respectively. I don't know why two of them are present. The middle one was presumably a tape flip, but I'm guessing. It may be that not all of the show was recorded, but I cannot verify that. Perhaps some of you with longer memories or harbouring databases on these kinds of things could let me know.

This is the beginning of the remasters series from Ruff Snax bringing you quality remastered Scottish gigs. It goes hand in hand with our Ruff Snax Releases, the first that was widely available - George Thorogood and the Destroyers (The Wednesday night Hootenanny, April 04, RSR No 16).
This is a fan sharing activity, please support your favourite artists and buy their releases, share the roio's (don’t sell) nor debase it by sharing in MP3.
