Intros: Yes Closing Credits: Yes Cover Art: Yes MD5 Check: Included ...In The Video-TS Folder (REMOVE BEFORE BURNING) Lets start by saying Yes you do need this Yes you can throw away your copy of Watching TV with this replacement ...if you had/have one. Yes it upgrades the Roger Waters Video Anthology by 95% It even upgrades some mistakes that Roger Waters made when making some of the videos. What God Wants in particular. Yes it was fookin' hard work. OK..are you sitting comfortably? Then i shall begin. Those that had the Original Watching TV ,the Anthology made like a movie ,had either mono or static running from start to finish on the audio. Anyway ,a low gen VHS was sent to me by DanS(thx Dan) to re-master and transfer to DvD.This was mono as well. However,on looking at some of the footage i had better quality for some of it & in a lot of cases better footage than on the Harvested RW Anthology. So....instead of re-mastering the VHS i set about putting myself into the brain of The Kid From Cleveland(the original producer) to completely re-make the production where possible keeping it as close as i could to the original but using the better quality footage that has surfaced or been discovered since his making of it. Thats basically the bottom line. A quick summary of the upgrade content on this DvD is: You will have 4 original re-mastered Kid From Cleveland videos not available on RWA. You will have no MTV artifacts that appear on some of the videos on RWA. Every Strangers Eyes now has a complete beginning(listen to the song & watch the video on RWA....there is one statement missing from the waitress and infact what you do see is synced to the wrong statement that she makes Also the tape chewing glitch 1/2 way though that song on RWA has been 90% fixed.Yes,i did use that video to re-make it(thx Ron) What God Wants now actually has Apes freaking out visually when you hear it at the beginning.....why Rog didn't do that when making it is beyond me. Some extra news footage has been added to bring it a bit more upto date politically. All is now in proper sync. The scene chages, the explosions...even the Policeman on Radio Waves. Audio.....the lot...........Turn the f***er up loud & hear what i mean. :FOOTNOTES: Sexual Revolution is the only under par video(audio is top notch),but it is a Kid From Cleveland original video which is different to the one on RWA The main problem i had after replacing the audio for ALL the videos was the static that was still slightly audible on the original 90 second intro. Loops & samples was used to make it.....a lot of them.So....to get around this ,and as it now called Re-Tuned, i re-made the exact video intros but made it look like a 1920's black & white movie so that the slight static that you do hear on the audio goes with the image. Yep ..if i couldnt fix the audio make the image match it so that it looks like it was made to be that way hehe . I also double tracked that audio starting the 2nd track 0.03 seconds after the 1st giving a fake wide effect which hid some of static but not enough. You may hear slight static(cleaned) for the sound effects used in the 1st 30 seconds of Perfect Sense pt1 but when you see the Ape with the bones...bang,here we go. ALL credits are the same as the original only mine has now been added obviously as i remade the thing.Yes Finatic, you're still there The reason i have said VG+ for some of the video is that> news footage is in this production from all years & obviously when it was originally shown todays technology didn't exist.Plus the under par of Sex Rev Also...if you watch this DvD on the PC you will see some VHS tape flicker at the bottom of the screen on some of the videos. You will not on the TV set. Why only 95% upgrade on RWA........It doesnt have Fish Report(no real loss there then) ,no Brick part 2 or BD.But then RWA has artifacts & doesnt have any of this audio so i think 95% is about right. However, Look out for the forthcoming KoolKat Entertainment DvD....Roger Waters Watching TV - The Other Channels.....to complete all that Roger has done in video & make this a 2 DvD set. There you have it.....job done!! :Tracks: Perfect Sense(pt1) Perfect Sense(pt2) Lost Boys Calling Radio Waves Sexual Revolution What God Wants Folded Flags Sunset Strip Three Wishes Four Minutes The Tide Is Turning The Pros & Cons Of Hitchiking Every Strangers Eyes Watching TV To me Watching TV is,was and has always been the Anthology to have and i bloody enjoyed the re-make. Thx again DanS for the low gen VHS & to The Kid From Cleveland(I hope you liked my re-tuning if you ever see/hear it) By The Fans...For the Fans DO NOT TINKER WITH DO NOT SELL Enjoy KKDvD0034 A KoolKat Entertainment Release & Co-Production K_K |
