| Recorded at the Rosemont Theatre, Chicago, IL, USA. Fantastic audience recording. The first disc has a menu, the second disc doesn't. From the info file: Hop The Pond proudly presents: HOP 007 David Gilmour, 'On a Live Island' Filmed by 'The Producer' at the Rosemont Theatre, Chicago IL, 13th April 2006. Linage: Sony HDR-HC1 HDV PAL camera shot in 1080p High Definition with Sony ECM HST1 external stereo mic Captured through Vegas 6 via firewire to .M2T file, then converted & rendered to NTSC MPEG 2 (CBR 7). Slight level adjustment to 16bit 48KHz audio with Cool Edit pro then converted to 48KHz 16 bit AC3 file with Vegas. Menus, editing conversions all done with Vegas 6 , DVD authoring REEL DVD. Due to there being no media available to play High Def Video at the moment this has been converted for normal DVD viewing in NTSC at 720x 480. Disc1: Due to tape running out 45 seconds before the end of set 1 theres a stills slide show and a different audio source used for the last 45 Seconds. Many thanks to Ron Toon for the stills and the audio taper for 45 seconds of his audio at the end of 'Where We Start'. There's a couple of audio fades/clicks at 23:46 this is due the mic being changed from Auto record level to manual. Total running time: 1:01:58 Disc 2: Notes: Due to the he guy a couple of seats on from me being drunk theres a couple of security ducks, as you'll see i was sat on the back row but on the isle, the security are visible several times walking up the isle straight towards me! The guy just wouldn't shut up! The guy sat in front of me also seamed to think he was the one ringing the bell during High Hopes!(watch it, you'll see what i mean) In general its not a bad shoot, Shame I wasn't able to see the rest of the band from where i was filming but you see what matters 99% of the time.
