This is pretty close to the high speed reel master source, with only one CDR gen (if the lineage is to be believed). ajd owns the original PCM and the reels were destroyed by fire. This came from Bill Graham's vault. The original PCM is the definitive source, but is not widely circulating. Presence has a DAT of this master he says is a hair longer, but he can't get it to cooperate and may try to get another copy from the trader. His probably won't have suffered from the track cuts my source did, so it'll be a bit different, if he can ever track it back down. For now, here's mine.

Extended Lineage info:
----------------------
2 neumann tube mics (on stage)
master reel @ 15ips
datx?
hhb 850
eac
cd wave (bad cuts, but seemingly no data lost)
mkwact (SHN)

JAMESKG:
--------------
- SHN to WAV (FOOBAR2000)
- CEP 2.0 to fix splices (mostly ALAIHY, KF - see below)
- WAV to FLAC8 (FLAC FRONTEND) verified, aligned on sectors. No clicks, pops.

This show had some PA problems in a few places (Jones' bass rig, mainly) and the PA had a slight buzz all night (only noticeable between songs or very quiet passages). But hey, that's how it went down that night, so it's just like being there - except - Plant's mic seems distant - which adds credibility to the 2 neumanns on stage thing. They'd have picked up the drums and amps and Roberts voice would have been on the house PA, which was probably just forward of the mics (or in line). I kind of like it this way - as I can really hear the band!

This is a good source, but the track marks were screwed up. I fixed them all and merged the splits back together. A DC surge was corrected at 7:56.50 in ALAIHY.
There is a tape speed up during recording in White summer - I slowed the section back down to match pitch the best I could. You can tell where it is, but I recovered 3 or 4 seconds of lost Jimmy no one has probably heard since then!
Converted to flac 8 when done. The taper didn't do a perfect job, but the sound is a B+ or an A.
